Uninstalling it was a chore because if you go through the Control Program - Uninstall a Program, it requires the username/password used to set it up to uninstall it. This page on their website is very triggering. What websites they're visiting, what they're doing on Facebook, pretty much everything. When you log in to the website, you can view all the details of your 'child's' online life. I had to set up a 'child', and it had absolutely no reservations when I entered in my own birth year, so it's totally okay stalking and restricting 27 year-olds. I had to register for an account to do that, which only needs an e-mail address and password, nothing identifying, not even your name (Edit: Actually, now that I think about it I entered the name 'Burner'). I ended up installing it on my home computer to see what we were dealing with. Even though his one and only account is a full administrator. ![]() It turns out, he had a program called Qustodio installed on his laptop that was locking him out. ![]() He sent me a screenshot of his task manager and I saw three processes that were weird so I googled them. Last night u/Entinu and I were working on his lockout problem from his post here over Skype. Mods please let me know if any part of my post is inappropriate, as I'm writing it I'm realizing that this may be pushing the limits of the sub rules regarding cyberstalking. ![]()
